LOOKING FOR A PREACHER:
About Us; Who We Are:
Located in Quincy, Washington, 30 miles East of Wenatchee, we
are actively involved in encouraging each other in our faith and
desiring to plant the word of God in this local community. We
believe that there are many growth opportunities in membership,
faith, and soul-winning for Jesus. Our group of approximately 14
members are motivated to work and apply their talents, provided
From our G o d to do His work.
J O B  S U M M A R Y:
The preacher would serve as a full-time evangelist. And have the
following key responsibilities in the local work of the Quincy church
of Christ congregation.
KEY R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S :
Preach the Word, in sound doctrine. He will reprove, rebuke,
and exhort with patience and instruction. He is a humble bond servant
of the Lord and a member of the congregation. 2nd Timothy 4:2-5.
Working under the congregation's oversight and guidance, he will
work with the members on the training and instruction that is needed.
Instruction will include sermons from the pulpit as well as weekly
c l a s s e s .
Evangelism, Planning, and follow-up: As per our motivation
and desire to evangelize in our local community, the evangelist will
be a catalyst alongside the congregation in planning and executing
evangelism efforts. Such efforts will culminate in "honest hearts,"
hearing and receiving the word of God. We desire to be planters
of the word," while God gives the increase, 1st Corinthians 3:6.
